Coaching begins with the player.

I played prep basketball throughout high school and bring my playing and training experience into every session. I start with your player’s goals and where they are now.

I had no idea what I was doing when I first picked up a basketball. The coaches who took me in taught me more than the game. They taught me discipline, confidence and how to hold myself accountable. That's why I started URAZ HOOPS. I want to give players that same start, on and off the court.

I’ll explain the skill, give them time to practise and coach the next rep. A beginner learning the basics and a player preparing for competitive basketball need different starting points.

What you can expect.

Focused practice

Reps built around your player’s training goals.

Clear feedback

I’ll explain what to change, why it matters and how to work on it.

Parent communication

You’re welcome to watch and talk with me about your child’s goals.

Time to ask questions.

Questions are part of training. If a drill doesn’t make sense, ask me. We’ll talk through it, then get back to the reps.

Parents, you’re welcome to ask about your child’s training too.

  • What should I practise between sessions?
  • Which training format fits my child?

Find your starting point.

Private training gives you my full attention. Group training brings players together for shared drills and competitive reps. Tell me your player’s age, experience and goals, and I’ll help you choose.
