Meet Coach Mert
I’m Mert Uraz, the coach behind URAZ HOOPS. I work with youth, teens and adults in Vaughan and the GTA through private sessions and groups.
Tell me what your player wants to improve. I’ll explain the skill, coach the reps and help them put it into practice. They’ll have room to ask questions and work through mistakes.

Inside the training
Ball control, shooting, footwork and finishing. I break down the movement, give you feedback and build the challenge as you get comfortable.

Reviews
"Honestly didn't expect results this fast. My son went from barely touching the ball in games to being one of the more confident kids on his team. He actually wants to go to practice now, which says everything."
"Trained all summer before tryouts and made the high school team for the first time. Coach didn't let me slack but always broke things down so I understood why. My handle and my finishing are both way better."
"I was nervous coming in, honestly. Out of shape, hadn't played in years. But the sessions just met me where I was. Six weeks later I'm back playing pickup and actually enjoying it."
"She goes with two of her friends and the dynamic is great. They push each other, they're having fun, and she actually asks to go. For the price, I haven't found anything close in value."
Every URAZ HOOPS session is one full hour: 60 minutes of focused, coached work from warm-up to finish. That goes for 1-on-1 sessions, small groups, and big groups alike.
Youth training starts at age 5. I also coach teens and adults, including beginners. Sessions are adapted to the player’s age, experience and readiness. Scheduled groups have their own age ranges, listed with each session.
Yes. I work with beginners from age 5, starting with fundamentals and adapting the pace to the player. Tell me their age and experience so we can discuss a suitable first session.
